Stray dog feeders are regularly facing harassment in Kerala, which was due to a poster published by the Government of Kerala stating not to feed food and water to the stray dogs. Through our intervention, the High Court of Kerala ordered to removal of the poster. Even after the court intervention, the public harassed the feeders.
In such an incident, our President Ammu was stopped from feeding by a few people led by a Musthafa, a photographer of the Hindu News Paper. He was booked under various sections of the IPC for obstructing the privacy of a lady and verbal abuse.
After the complaint, there were no issues from the public for feeding stray dogs in the area.
