Vava Suresh rose to fame because of his practical handling of snakes and dissemination of misleading information about them. Before 2020, fewer scientific rescuers who were unable to expose the mistakes he was introducing into society. He knows nothing about snakes or any other wild animal from a scientific standpoint. His audience, including the Wildlife Department, believed all of his false information about snakes and other animals. The fact that he has been bitten by more than 300 snakes highlights his credentials.
The unscientific way he caught the snake with his bare hands by applying heavy pressure caused the death of many snakes. We have exposed that Vava Suresh does not have any knowledge about snakes and what he delivers are blunders through our number of interviews. It received public acclaim stardom was ended, and scientific rescuers became highlighted in society. He mastered diagonalizing the sex and age of the snakes by reading the head.
In a video footage, he was squeezing, slapping, and dragging a python to regurgitate its prey, a civet cat, in 2018 in the south district of Kerala. We have complained to the forest department and the inaction was, as usual, they didn’t register any cases. All his actions are legally and scientifically a violation under the Wildlife Protection Act -1972.
Shortly, we have moved to the High Court of Kerala. Unfortunately, the case is being pending with the court.
This case leads to the formation of licensing and scientific training for the snake rescuers.
