Dogs Hacked

A large number of dogs are found dead or alive after being hacked in unknown circumstances all over Kerala, except few districts. It is deeply suspected that extremist groups are practicing on the stray dogs. In some incidents, cats were mutilated. The dogs they choose are healthy and crossbreeds in all the incidents. A dog was found with cut wounds in Panthakkal, Mahe, with multiple cut wounds. Such 4 incidents were reported from the same place in the recent past. It underwent treatment in 2 veterinary hospitals but died. We have complained to the Mahe police station about this mishap, but Kerala police could not trace anything till date.
