Alappuzha, Ramankari : A video surfaced on social media where a dog was found hanging on the bridge at Kidangara Thottungal bridge. A second video appeared where the dead dog was floating through the river. We had investigated the matter and could trace the person who shot the video. Following this, we could identify the accused and complain to Ramankary Police Station with critical evidence. The incident happened on 8 Nov. 2019, with the informer’s statement. Police arrested local gunda Santhosh and have been charged under IPC 428.
