Common Wiper Killed

Aluva, Kuttmassery: A bike rider became panicked over the sudden appearance of a common wiper at night on the headlight of his bike. A news channel, Marunadan Malayali, reported with video that the locals were killing the wiper at night. A complaint was lodged with the Wildlife Department, and they recorded the statement of the rider Zakharia, Mattayiyil, Marambilly, who could not identify any of the accused. The media and the locals were under the impression and faith that the act was heroic, and unaware of the wildlife laws.
