Eagle (Brahminy Kite) is scheduled in the Wildlife Protection Act –1972, which was caged illegally in a house at Kalampur, Piravam, Ernakulam District. To verify the fact, we have reached the home and photographed the bird. In our complaint with DFO, Kothamangalam, who seized the bird and a case has been registered against the owner, Suresh, under the Wildlife Act. The kite was released in the Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary, Kothamangalam, but it still visits the owner as in 2020.
